VALLEY OF HOPE FOUNDATION HOLDS SECOND MULTIVITAMIN OUTREACH IN ASABA
The Valley of Hope Foundation has conducted its second outreach programme for the distribution of multivitamins at the General Hospital Okwe, in Asaba, Delta State, reinforcing its commitment to improving community health and supporting vulnerable populations. The outreach targeted children and their parents, with a focus on promoting preventive healthcare and addressing nutritional deficiencies among young beneficiaries.
Prior to the exercise, beneficiaries were pre-informed about the outreach and guided through a registration process where they filled in their details. This ensured proper documentation and enabled the Foundation to determine the appropriate quantity of vitamins required for each child. As a result, distribution was carried out efficiently, with some children receiving up to three bottles of multivitamins based on assessed needs.
The reception hall of the hospital was filled with beneficiaries, reflecting strong community participation and the growing trust in the Foundation’s interventions. To further support attendees and create a welcoming environment, snacks were also distributed to children and their parents during the outreach.
The Valley of Hope Foundation team worked in close collaboration with staff of the General Hospital, whose support contributed significantly to the smooth coordination and successful execution of the programme. The partnership highlights the importance of institutional collaboration in delivering impactful health interventions at the grassroots level.
